Super Base is a single-component, water-based, high-performance elastomeric acrylic coating used as a base coat on roofing before applying Super Therm®. It fills and seals cracks in the roof substrate, adheres tenaciously, resists ponding water, UV, and weathering, and remains tough and flexible through thermal cycles.
It’s the prep layer that makes the entire Super Therm® system perform.

Yes — at the heavier 625-micron / 25-mil application, it functions as a crack filler at seams and stress points. That’s the same coat in which it pairs with mastic sealing tape.
