Hawaiʻi has the highest residential electricity rates in the United States. A metal or dark-tile roof in direct sun absorbs that heat all day and re-radiates it down into the living space all evening — driving the air conditioner and the bill. Documented Residential Results

  • Southern Flinders Ranges, Australia (1882 home, metal roof): after Super Therm®, internal living-temperature reduction of 8–12°C, with 25% lower roof-space temperatures. Solar panels also performed better with less ambient heat.

What About the “Winter Penalty”?
