Hawaiʻi concrete fights three things at once: salt damp (salt-laden moisture wicking up through the slab), mold and algae (driven by surface humidity), and physical wear (vehicles, equipment, foot traffic). Most surface sealers fail on salt damp because they only seal the top — moisture pushes through from below and eventually breaks the bond.
