US Air Force Renewable Energy Symposium

Tucson, Arizona, June 2011. Super Therm® was applied to the exterior of an uninsulated metal building the day before the symposium. Over the next three days, in 43–45°C (111–113°F) desert heat with all air conditioning off:

  • Interior held at 29°C (85°F)
  • With 60 people inside and the doors wide open
  • Surrounding uncoated buildings ran 21°C (70°F) hotter at the surface
  • Nearly 200 attendees bussed to the test site as proof

The presentation was titled “Innovative Use of Ceramic Coatings to Alter the Approach to Building Heat Gain.”

Fort Bragg, North Carolina — Lead Paint Encapsulation
