Oahu hosts roughly 70% of Hawaiʻi’s population and the majority of its commercial and government building stock. It’s also where SRM Group LLC is based — at 46-129 Aeloa St., Kaneohe, in the heart of Windward Oahu. From there we serve every neighborhood on the island, often with same-week site visits.
Oahu is small enough to drive across in an hour and large enough to have four genuinely different climates. The right coating depends on where the building sits.
The wettest, most humid, and most aggressive corrosion environment on the island. Salt air rolls in from the trades day and night. Mold and mildew grow fast on north-facing surfaces.

High UV, salt air, and seasonal heavy rain (winter swells bring weather). Surf-tourism economy means hospitality and short-term rentals dominate.

The hot, dry side. Less salt exposure but the strongest sun on the island and the largest residential developments.
